Job Summary:
Alan Gray LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manager, Quality Assurance Auditor to oversee and manage the quality assurance processes within our claims auditing department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing and analyzing claims, ensuring compliance with industry standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in improving the efficiency, accuracy, and overall effectiveness of our claims auditing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Oversight: Manage and perform regular quality assurance audits of claims auditing processes.
Claims Analysis: Review and evaluate claims data, documents, and processes for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to guidelines.
Reporting & Documentation: Generate and maintain detailed claims audit reports. Provide actionable recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement.
Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure all claims audit procedures are aligned with compliance standards and regulations, proactively identifying potential risks in claims audit processing.
Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies in the claims audit process and recommend process improvements to enhance quality.
Client/Stakeholder Communication : Act as a liaison between claims auditing department and other internal departments to communicate audit results and action plans.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, law degree, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), CPCU) are a plus.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in insurance claims processing or auditing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of insurance policies, claims processes, and regulatory requirements. Proficient in using audit tools and software (e.g., MS Excel, claims management systems).
Analytical Skills : Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leadership clearly and concisely.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and drive process improvements within a collaborative environment.
Knowledge of Industry Standards : Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, NAIC, and regulatory guidelines related to insurance claims.
