Location: Midwest
Years of experience/education and/or certifications required:
1-3 years of experience in quality
At least GED, associates is a plus
Forklift certified is a plus but not required

Entry-level candidates are encouraged; training will be provided.
Work Environment:
Mix between office and warehouse
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday 7:30-3:30pm
Possible OT after training.

100% onsite
Purpose:
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the quality of products manufactured and ensure that the Durable & Consumable commodities and raw materials used in the Drug Product and Drug Substance manufacturing areas comply with quality requirements according to procedures and material specifications.
Responsibilities:
Material inspection of Durable & Consumable commodities and raw materials according to procedures.
Sampling of incoming material according to procedures and material specifications.
Enter inspection results in computer systems.
Segregate rejected materials.
Conduct visual and dimensional tests of commodities used in the Drug Substance area.
Release incoming material in the system.
Verify documentation generated according to procedures.
Assist operations in accordance with environmental management and occupational health and safety (EHS) systems.
Comply with all EHS procedures and policies including incident reporting, use of PPE, waste management, and disposal.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED with two (2) years of experience in the biologics or pharmaceutical industry, or an Associate Degree in Science with no experience.
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and safety practices.
Basic verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Experience driving forklifts and handling materials is preferred.
Basic knowledge of computer systems.
