The perfect candidate will have proven experience from a Food Production background or similar.
Role
Purpose:
Ensure materials are safe and legally compliant
Maintain bakery hygiene & GMP standards
Ensure compliance with BRCGS & customer requirements
Support operations and achieve company KPIs
Drive
continuous improvement
and
food safety
culture
Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety:
Foster a ”
Safety First
” culture
Implement Health & Safety initiatives
Promote zero harm & best practices
Quality & Compliance:
Approve suppliers, ingredients & packaging
Manage supplier non-conformance’s
Conduct audits, GMP checks & lab testing
Maintain QA records & databases
Support third-party audits & compliance
Strategic & Tactical Responsibilities:
Drive
continuous improvement
Monitor and report KPIs
Engage in departmental goals
Key Outputs / Metrics:
Achieve BRCGS “Grade A”
Meet customer audit standards
Ensure zero Lost Time Incidents
Complete audits & reports on schedule
Keep site audit-ready
