Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves conducting inspections, analyzing data, and collaborating with various departments to uphold quality systems.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements.
Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on findings, identifying any non-conformities or areas for improvement.
Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and ensure adherence to quality management practices.
Maintain documentation related to quality systems, including inspection records and compliance reports.
Participate in internal audits and assist in the development of quality assurance procedures.
Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to QA/QC processes.
Checking that the assembly or product adheres to standards and complying with customer print
Reviewing blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods
Recording inspection results by completing reports and summarizing re-works
Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence
Proposing improvements to the production process
Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training
Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs
Qualifications
Proven experience in quality inspection or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and coordinate measuring machines.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on findings.
Knowledge of quality systems and quality management principles is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of independence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.30 – $19.00 per hour
