QA Tester / Test Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester / Test Analyst to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting test activities while working closely with development and business teams to identify and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and testing needs.
- Analyze test results and prepare testing reports.
- Ensure software products meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective.
- Support test automation initiatives where applicable.
- Assist in improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate testing documentation and records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of manual testing techniques and defect management processes.
- Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with API, web, or mobile application testing.
- Relevant QA certifications are considered an advantage.
