Software is playing an increasingly important and extensive role in our business area. We are therefore expanding our expertise and capacity in this strategically important area and are looking for you to join our R&E team in Radeburg
Your Tasks
Development and implementation of test strategies, test plans and test cases for software products
Analysis of requirements and derivation of suitable test cases
Execution of functional and non-functional integration and performance tests
Identification, documentation and tracking of errors using common bug tracking tools
Collaboration with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to continuously improve software quality
Supporting the introduction of test automation solutions and continuous integration (CI/CD)
Creating and maintaining test documentation and reporting on test results
Releasing software after successful test execution and quality assurance
Training and sensitization of the team for quality standards and best practices
Your Profile
Degree in computer science, engineering or a comparable field of study or equivalent professional experience
Experience in software quality assurance and test management
Experience with C++ programming languages (knowledge of the Qt5/QML framework an advantage)
Knowledge of common test methods, test tools and test automation
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g. JIRA)
Understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps)
Very good language skills in German
