Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Playwright to join our quality engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and executing automation test strategies using Playwright, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and driving quality across web and microservices-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Implement and execute test plans and test cases for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Drive adoption of best practices in test automation, test coverage, and code quality.
Perform root cause analysis for issues found during testing and contribute to continuous improvements.
Maintain test documentation and contribute to automation strategy planning and reporting.
Required Skills & Experience:
4+ years of experience in QA Automation.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript.
Solid understanding of automation frameworks and tools.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud Platform (MCP) and web technologies.
Strong understanding of REST APIs and API test automation (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
Knowledge of Git and version control best practices.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
