QA with experience in insurance commissions processing and Varicent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of commission-related systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for insurance commission systems.
Review requirements, specs and technical designs to provide detailed feedback to the project team during the requirements phase of the project. Reuse and/or create efficient test strategies and test plans based on the scope and requirements.
Execute and maintain test bed for reusability and efficiency. Provide metrics and feedback on issues found and tracked in defects. Ensure quality results of technical implementation in business processes, analysis, modeling, and integration
Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies using test management tools.
Validate commission calculations, payment processing, and data integrity.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Provide support for system enhancements, upgrades, and implementation projects.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of QA testing experience, preferably in insurance commissions processing.
Hands-on experience with commission systems such as Varicent (preferred) or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of insurance industry commission structures, calculations, and processing workflows.
Experience with SQL queries for data validation and testing.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with automation testing frameworks.
