The Role
• Design and execute test cases for functional and non-functional requirements of web applications.
• Conduct application security testing to identify and validate vulnerabilities.
• Utilize tools like Jira/Xray for defect logging, tracking, and reporting.
• Perform debugging using browser developer tools, focusing on JavaScript and network analysis.
• Validate and manipulate requests/responses, including session handling and API testing with tools like Postman.
• Collaborate effectively within Agile Scrum teams, including distributed and offshore members.
What You'll Need
• 5+ years of experience in QA testing of Java/JSP-based web applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript debugging using browser developer tools.
• Proficiency in analyzing HTTP traffic, modifying payloads, and managing sessions/tokens.
• Experience with API testing and a good understanding of web security fundamentals, including OWASP Top 10.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Xray.
