Job Description
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications.
Perform various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing, to ensure software quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
Participate in design and code reviews to provide input on software quality and testability.
Automate test cases using appropriate tools and frameworks, and maintain and enhance existing test automation suites.
Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and work with the development team to resolve issues.
Monitor and track software defects and issues to closure, ensuring timely resolution.
Critical Skills To Possess
Testing web-based e-commerce applications, work in collaboration with product and engineering teams to deliver product with high-quality.
Automation experience (Manual + Automation+Selanium)
Understands requirements clearly and can draft test cases, has good verbal and written communications.
Understands scrum practices.
Drives testing in all phases starting from requirements gathering to test data to debugging issues to finishing up testing.
Continuous script development and maintenance to support new features developed to enhance the product.
Preferred Qualifications
BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
