We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring that applications meet the highest standards before deployment. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and experience in both manual and automated testing.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Automate test cases using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress (for automation roles).
Conduct API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
Ensure software meets quality standards before release to production.
Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
X+ years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automation).
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, JUnit, etc.).
Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) and performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript (for automation roles).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
