QA/QC Engineer
Position Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA/QC Engineer to support project execution by ensuring all construction activities are completed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing assigned work areas/packages, coordinating inspections and testing activities, maintaining quality records, and driving timely closeout of quality documentation while supporting successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilitie
sQuality Assurance & Quality Contro
- lPerform daily site quality surveillance to identify, document, and communicate non-conformities and quality deficiencies, ensuring corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence
- .Coordinate QA/QC activities for assigned project areas/packages in line with the approved project schedule, specifications, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and contract requirements
- .Ensure subcontractors comply with approved ITPs, inspection requirements, and quality procedures while maintaining complete inspection records
- .Prepare detailed inspection schedules aligned with the project programme, identifying daily, weekly, and monthly inspection requirements for all assigned activities
- .Coordinate work inspections with project execution teams, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring all required documentation, inspection records, comments, and post-inspection observations are accurately completed
- .Conduct material inspections using electronic quality management workflows to verify compliance with project specifications and approved materials
- .Ensure rejected materials identified during internal or consultant inspections are properly quarantined and removed from site

Non-Conformance & Corrective Actio
- nsCoordinate with execution teams to implement corrective and preventive actions arising from Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and quality observation
- s.Conduct follow-up inspections to verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive action
- s.Monitor NCR closure progress and support timely resolution within project target
- s.Escalate recurring or unjustified consultant comments and rejections that result in unnecessary rework or project delays to the QA/QC Manage
r.
Fire & Life Safety (F
- LS)Coordinate with the Firestop Engineer and monitor Fire & Life Safety (FLS) installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and authority requiremen
ts.
Quality Documentation & Repor
- tingMonitor and review weekly and monthly quality deliverables, including planned versus actual inspections, resubmissions, approvals, and outstanding items for assigned packa

Qualific
- ationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or equiva
- lent).Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience within the construction ind
- ustry.Strong understanding of construction methodologies, inspection processes, and quality management sy
- stems.Experience working with consultants, subcontractors, and project execution
- teams.Familiarity with electronic inspection and quality management systems is pref
erred.
