Job Description
Conduct thorough inspections of all fit-out work to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Develop and implement QA/QC procedures tailored to fit-out projects, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Identify and document defects or non-conformance issues with fit-out materials and workmanship, providing actionable feedback to contractors. Coordinate with project managers to schedule regular quality audits and inspections throughout various stages of fit-out projects.
Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings, ensuring that they meet project specifications and quality requirements. Liaise with subcontractors to address quality concerns and initiate corrective actions promptly when issues are identified. Stay updated on the latest regulations, standards, and trends in fit-out quality management to ensure
continuous improvement
. Prepare and maintain comprehensive records of inspections, tests, and compliance reports for project documentation.
Facilitate training sessions for site workers on quality standards and best practices specific to fit-out works. Collaborate with the design team to provide feedback on potential design improvements that enhance constructability and quality. Â
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is essential for technical competence. Minimum of 3 years of
hands-on experience
in QA/QC roles specifically within the fit-out sector, showcasing a strong track record. Experience in high-end commercial fit-out projects is preferred, indicating familiarity with luxury standards and expectations. Candidates with a background in construction management or interior design will have an advantage in understanding project nuances. Â
