The QAQC Lead will be responsible for the following:
Prepare the Project Quality Plan based on project requirements as well as Company Quality Policy.
Liaise with Client Quality Representative to understand their quality expectations.
Collaborate with Construction Management Team to ensure quality is fulfilled as per Client’s expectations.

Training for Site staff.
Lead Monthly
Quality Control
Training for QAQC Staff.
Lead monthly Quality Circles and discuss
Quality Assurance
improvement and Quality issues on each project.
Assign and allocate QAQC team across projects based on workload.
Lead root cause investigation for NCR and reporting for closure of Non-Compliance Issues.
Participate in project initiation/kickoff meeting to provide input on proposed ITP.Guide and monitor each project’s QAQC progress and status.
Ensure WPS/PQR and welder qualifications are valid and available as per project requirements and project schedule.
Ensure database (company database software or client software, as per project requirement) is up to date as per actual project site conditions and reliable to track actual project progress.
Prepare and review overall project welding quality and working quality performance status and follow up action for improvement.
A successful candidate for this role should possess the following:
Over 10 years of QAQC experience, including 5 years as a QAQC Manager.
Expert knowledge in the preparation of WPS, PQR, WQT, and technical knowledge in welding engineering and processes such as GTAW, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SAW.Extensive knowledge of API and ASME codes.
Certification as an AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or CSWIP Welding Inspector Level 3, or equivalent Welding Engineer certification.
Experience with
various NDT methods, including RT, MPI, LPT, UT, PAUT, and DRT, with the ability to understand job nature, pros and cons, and select the best method for projects.
Expertise in documentation, document control, and data handling.
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification with deep knowledge in setting up Quality Management Systems, internal and external auditing, and preparing for third-party or second-party audits.
Comprehensive understanding of
project management
and the project lifecycle of EPCM stages, including piping, machinery equipment fabrication and installation, steel structure, tanks and pressure vessel fabrication and installation, testing and commissioning of piping systems and equipment, and maintenance projects.
Minimum of a Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.#J-18808-Ljbffr
