Full-time Functional Test Lead role in Global Audit & Assurance (Global A&A) to work as part of the User Experience Workstream within the Catalyst Programme. This role is responsible for the overall Functional Testing team effectiveness and development and maintenance of proficient functional/business testing practices and processes across the Digital Audit Suite. This role is required to be champion and gatekeeper of the Functional Testing group to ensure the end-result meets the design and requirements expectations of the business. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, reliable, and business value-driven professional whose expertise and strong leadership skills will be necessary for the continuous improvement in the solution delivery goals.
Responsible for the overall functional/business testing process and strategy for the Catalyst programme
Oversee the development and maintenance of functional testing processes including Functional test plans, Functional test scripts, and Functional Bug Reports
Collaborates closely Quality Assurance Architects/Leads from the Data and Technology Workstream, to ensure a consistent approach to the overall testing strategy within Catalyst
Collaborates closely with Functional Leads and Business Analysts from the User Experience Workstream to ensure the ideal functional and business flows are being tested for features and user stories
Research industry developments and update functional testing policies and procedures with a goal of continuous improvement in workflow and practices
Deliver programme deliverables on time by meeting key milestones while adhering to development and quality standards
Maintain the process of root cause analysis for issues reported and establish well-defined action plan to prevent these issues in the future
Assemble and reports functional testing status to key programme members
Coach and mentor Functional Testers to ensure the best quality solution delivery
Coordinates and participates in retrospective meetings
Helps build a productive environment through effective collaboration

Candidates must have experience in…
Experience:
8 or more years of experience in Quality Assurance or Functional/Business Testing, required
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. Implement best practices for test automation to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies.
Hands-on-experience in Jenkins, CICD pipeline, Troubleshooting and debugging.
Technical knowledge of Java to develop Selenium framework.
Good Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript
2 or more years of experience in managing QA, Functional Testing, or UAT teams, required
Strong understanding of Software testing methodologies, tools, and approaches
Strong experience with writing functional test plans and executing test cases, required
Ability to handle multiple strategic projects/initiatives
Strong team management and interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written skills
Experience working with Agile frameworks, preferred
Software:
Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, Maven, GIT, Jira.
Microsoft Technologies proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required
Azure DevOps, JIRA, or other software development and testing tools, preferred
