Responsibilities:

Ensure all inspection, documentation, and testing activities are performed accurately

Act as the primary point of contact for all materials supplied to and from the organisation

Complete inspections in Goods Inwards/Despatch and Work in-process environments

Manage the calibration system for inspection instruments

Conduct thorough inspections of components and assemblies using Inspection and Test Plans (I&TP)

Document findings clearly, identifying deficiencies and non-conformance

Utilise Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment and basic mechanical measurement tools

Assess painted components for adhesion, thickness, and quality

Evaluate welded components for quality using visual and basic measurement techniques

Flexibility to undertake additional tasks as required

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Proven experience in quality control inspection

Strong understanding of specifications, drawings, and documentation

Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Familiarity with Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of calibration systems and procedures

Relevant certifications in quality control or inspection

Technologies:

Faro 3D CMM measuring equipment

Basic mechanical measurement tools

Quality assurance documentation systems
