Position: QC Inspector – 1st Shift (Contract)
Job Description
Class 3 Medical Device company is seeking to hire experienced quality control technicians in Irvine CA. Need to have experience with electromechanical devices.
This is a 3-6 month assignment.
Shift: 1st Shift: 5am-1:30PM w/OT
Pay: $22/HR
Essential Functions:
Performs general inspection work in three basic areas and is capable of these required functions:
Receiving inspection
First article and In-Process inspection
Final and Shipping inspection
Takes direction from inspection lead for work assignments and obtains guidance on technical matters.
Performs reviews of DHRs, LHRs, and other Quality documents.
Assigns, controls, and manages appropriate GLN (General Load Number) and SLN (Sterilization Load Number) for products to and from sterilizer.
Familiar with all quality procedures and related work instructions and recommends improvements when applicable.
Measures parts to verify accuracy of dimensions, using standard and/or special measuring equipment.
Tests units for specification conformance using test equipment.
Stamps or otherwise approves acceptable parts and prepares the necessary paperwork to document the results.
Maintains all required inspection records as per procedures.
Conducts more complex inspections as assigned.
Performs thorough examinations of all materials and finished products.
Utilize visual inspection tools such as Calipers, Microscopes, and Gauges.
Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations.
Implement and improve quality control operating procedures.
Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects.
Participate in routine visual inspections.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED.
1-3 years minimum experience in Quality Inspector role.
Communication skills: verbal and written English.
Prior experience with medical, mechanical, or electrical inspection techniques.
Medical Device manufacturing experience.
Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
