Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our Electronic Assembly Service. You will lead a team of QA professionals, testing , assuring the highest quality and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products that meet our customers needs. Knowing ISO is a Plus, so we can develop more certifications!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead, and support a team of Quality Assurance and Testing Staff.
· Will be the bridge between Management and Production and Quality staff.
· Collaborates with other members of the organization to continually improve processes and products.
· Oversees First Article / Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) in accordance with procedure.
· Assist Production in adhering to Quality procedures and monitors for continuous improvement opportunities.
· Perform regular quality inspections and assessments on incoming and outgoing products for the company.
· Read specification sheets and prints to understand the requirements of products.
· Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare product to specifications.
· Document inspection outcomes by completing inspection reports.
· Maintains quality records associated with production, customer complaints, returns and rework.
· Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, nonconforming products, corrective actions, and re-validations.
· Assists with Corrective Actions.
· Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
· Resolve quality related issues in a timely manner.
· Assist with calibration on all production equipment and tooling.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
· Must have good communication skills.
· Experience with Quality Assurance processes.
· Familiar with interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
· Experience with continuity testing.
· Experience in manufacturing or inspecting wire harness and cable assemblies.
· Understanding of measurements is required, along with basic computer skills.
· The ability to work with detailed instructions is critical for qualified applicants.
· CIRRIS and HIPOT experience are preferred.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. University /College degree in related field is an asset.
· Experience in Production.
· Experience with QA measuring and testing equipment.
· Small group leadership experience.
