Quality Control Finishing Inspector
Job Summary
Provide quality control and assurance by inspecting the finished product to ensure the quality and production standards are met before shipping completed jobs to customers.
Primary Responsibilities
Visually inspect finished labels for defects to ensure customer quality standards and requirements are met
Rewinds labels according to customer specifications and internal procedures
Maintain acceptable, waste, quality, and safety standards
Complete paperwork and data entry on PC in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Other tasks and duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
Superior attention to detail
Good motor skills
Analytical skills
Ability to read a ruler and use a calculator
Understand basic math skills and be able to use effectively
Arrange paperwork in dated order
Ability to multitask
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision
Ability to inspect and spot label roll defects and correct as needed
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to read and write
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous related experience preferred
Physical Demands
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
