ECS is seeking a Quality Control Specialist IV (Software Focus) to work in our Norfolk, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
The Quality Control Specialist IV (Software Focus) ensures software and services meet predefined quality standards before being released into production. They work in software development, performing inspections, tests, and data analysis to identify deviations from established standards. Their role involves implementing quality control procedures, collaborating with other departments to address quality issues, and proposing improvements to streamline processes.
Requirements:
Ten (10)+ years professional experience solving technical problems.
Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance.
Possess a practical understanding of engineering concepts.
Ensures that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards.
Experience includes testing equipment, systems, networks, communications infrastructure/configuration, or applications to make sure that the process operates effectively and safely.
Individual shall be able to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens.
Should have experience in computer aided drafting (CAD), ability to prepare shop drawings for model construction, and be familiar with material specifications and fabrication methods.
Five (5)+ years of experience with software development and testing to include deployment and validation of the developed software solution OR experience with a specific software application(s) required of the task order and experience how the required software application interacts in concert with other or new software applications.
Three (3)+ years of this experience must be in support of defense health requirements.
Secret clearance required.
