Job Description/Role/Responsibilities
QA Coordinator
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor Establishes new items in the system to include measurements, SKU’s, QA specs, label verifications and release.
Communicates daily with QA personnel by handling all quality issues, holds, releases, special projects and special requests.
Communicates with Sales and Product development department in relation to new product launches and customer standards.
Reviews product to ensure it is as described in comparison to our Specs and the supplier specs.
Ensures product labels are verified at every stage correctly.
Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives.
Serves as a liaison to management for account progress or concerns.
Maintains notes on quality issues for review and quality improvement.
Coordinates training plants with supervisors to identify and address any lapses in training.
Records inspection results.
Communicates inspection results to management.
Assists with training and organizational data as needed.
Other duties as requires and assigned.
Education/Experience/ Certifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 to 3 years of related experience and/or training
Ability to use all four senses, site, hearing, touch and smell. Color vision required.
Must be able to follow simple verbal and written instruction.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals required
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents and software programs
Reasoning Ability – Intermediate Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Good Organizational Skills- Must be able to prioritize
Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, stand, walk and sit.
Work (bend down) under/around equipment.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must wear personal protective equipment at all times
Technician must work as a team person with all departments
Employee must submit to post offer, pre-employment drug test and employment history check.

Work Environment
Must be willing to work in refrigerated warehouse environment – Cold/Wet 38°F.
Must be able to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as scheduled or needed.
