LabChemS Corp (LCC) is a leading company in consulting services, laboratories and support resources for the medical and pharmaceutical device industries in Puerto Rico.
The Quality Assurance Technician makes sure that all the services that the company produces are consistently of high standards and safeguards that our company and customers remain compliant with industry regulations. Maintains organization’s quality records. Review, reports, evaluates, and documents quality issues or customer complaints. Develops and maintains quality systems, including quality standards, procedures, systems, and documentation. Gathers and resumes all data for the Quarterly Management Review Board meetings. Provides assistance in hosting external audits, including regulatory agencies and customer representatives. Responsible for tracking and reporting data trends and ensure general good lab procedures. Trains employees in Good Documentation Practices (GDPs). Identifies ways to improve existing processes and systems to improve quality and consistency.
Requiremments
Bachelor’s degree in science or any related field. 1-3 years of experience in a similar role in a regulated industry. Working knowledge of quality system requirements. Knowledge and understanding of cGMP. Experience enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs). Experience drafting reports and collating data. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external personnel. Ability to work alone with minimal supervision. High-level of visual awareness, detail oriented. Ability for data collection and analysis. Ability to analyze and interpret technical information. Excellent computer skills, including ability to work effectively with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Good written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English. Commitment to occasional overtime as workload requires. (Temporary contract 2414)
Compensation is according to the educational background and experience of the candidate.
