An advanced material science company is looking for Laboratory Technician/Assistant for its new facility in Plano, TX

Responsibilities of Laboratory Technician

· Prepare and test samples

· Assist experiments

· Operate laboratory equipment and devices

· Prepare records

Qualifications of Laboratory Technician

· Strong attention to details and skills to focus on small samples

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

· Assumption of responsibility and strong work ethic

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Highly motivated and ability to work independently and manage one’s time

· Skills to communicate and collaborate with others in the group

· Ability to use hand tools and small power tools

· Willing to work in a multicultural workplace

· Willing to learn fast and work efficiently

· Vision: 20/20 vision acuity

Desired but not required

· Experience in a cleanroom environment

· Worked with QC (Quality Control)

· Experience in operating optical microscope

· Hands-on experience (Needlework such as sewing and knitting, jewelry, or other hand crafts)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour
