QC Technologist – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Overview
Work with a dynamic team in a high‑energy environment to maintain product quality, food safety & legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Taste freshly manufactured stocks, gravies, sauces, and seasonings and compare with previously approved products.
- Calibrate and monitor parameters on laboratory and production equipment.
- Verify production clean‑downs through equipment swabbing.
- Ensure full product and raw material traceability is achieved.
- Verify process record documentation for all production lines.
- Complete Good Manufacturing Practice audits of the site.
- Focus on health & safety, food safety, general housekeeping and hygiene.
Qualifications and experience
The successful candidate will ideally come from a food manufacturing background with experience of using sensory abilities (taste, smell). They should have a good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Role Details
Salary: £26,600.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 am–2:00 pm (with flexibility).
Location:
Winsford, Cheshire – commutable from Congleton, Middlewich, Northwich, Crewe, Nantwich.
