Position overview
On behalf of our EPC client, an important company in the Oil & Gas industry, we are seeking to hire a QA/QC Traceability Assistant to join their site quality team in Rotterdam.
The selected candidate will support the QA/QC department in managing technical documentation, monitoring material traceability (mainly piping), and providing operational assistance to inspectors and quality engineers.
Main responsibilities
Collect, organize, and archive quality certificates and material documentation (e.g., EN 10204 3.1/3.2)
Monitor the status of piping spools throughout the production and logistics phases (inspection, shipping, erection)
Update traceability data in client platforms such as EasyPiping / EasyPlant
Support QA/QC inspectors in checking compliance with technical specifications
Draft reports and updates on traceability status for the project team
Assist during internal and external audits
Requirements
Previous experience in quality control or technical documentation control, preferably in Oil&Gas or construction environments
Knowledge of material traceability standards and procedures
Ability to read technical drawings and piping specifications (pipes, flanges, valves)
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and document management tools
Familiarity with EasyPiping / EasyPlant is a plus
Good command of the English language, Italian would be an advantage
Willingness to travel internationally or take on temporary foreign assignments
