Job Title
Tower Sealants is seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the quality control department, ensuring that Tower Sealants’ products meet company standards. The role involves monitoring customer specifications through overseeing testing, inspection, and quality verification processes, managing a team, and implementing quality policies.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Quality Control (QC) team, including hiring, training, and supervising.
Develop and enforce QC policies, procedures, and specifications.
Oversee testing and inspection processes to ensure product compliance with standards and regulations.
Maintain and improve QC systems and processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for quality issues.
Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality concerns.
Provide training and mentorship to QC staff.
Support other departments with quality guidance and expertise.
Prepare documentation and reports on QC activities and product performance.
Lead QC reporting and audits at various levels.
Motivate the QC team to meet and exceed quality goals.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Engineering, Quality Control).
At least 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in paint or sealant manufacturing.
Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and practices.
Experience with FTIR instrumentation and software.
