POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality and Vendor Compliance Team Lead is an hourly/nonexempt position and is outside the scope of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Under the direction of an Operations Supervisor, the Quality and Vendor Compliance Team Lead provides assistance monitoring, creating, and handling a variety of detailed tasks and projects that support the Vendor Compliance area. The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in technology and a strong knowledge of operations. This position will take a lead role in directing workflow in the Vendor Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Corrections areas and provide leadership when the department Supervisor is absent.
This is a career track position that can lead to becoming an Operations Quality and Assurance Supervisor, conditioned upon the needs of the business, such as but not limited to: foreign language requirements; the amount of experience the Quality and Assurance Team Lead has been able to acquire and the career potential demonstrated by the associate.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the leadership of the department Supervisor, will guide and direct the workflow in the Vendor Compliance, Quality Assurance, and Corrections areas.
Uses various MS. Lognet, and Mainframe applications to enter, gather, and analyze data for 3rd party costs and vendor chargebacks.
Complete updates, via MS Word and HTML, the b2B website
Communicate and work with both internal and external customers on providing necessary information to improve packaging processes and corrections.
Schedule approved overtime in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
Transfer associates into or out of the department and coordinate voluntary (VTO) and/or required (RTO) time off as necessary to balance staffing with the fulfillment center.
Coach and provide written documentation on associates, both positive & constructive.
Conduct Safe Work Method & SOP observations on hourly associates.
Identify safety hazards and notify the manager for proper attention and remediation.
Conduct and report accident/injury investigations to direct report.
Convey business and operational information to associates during the daily start-up meeting.
Upon approval by direct report, place orders for temporary associates from staffing agency via HR.
Foster a positive work environment within the assigned department.
Assist the supervisor in the process of team building.
Translate and interpret communication for the Burmese/Hispanic associates (if applicable).
Notify direct report and HR of personnel issues.
Review and sign off on policies pertaining to Confidentiality, Use of Computers, and Code of Conduct & Ethics.
Other duties as assigned.

Hiring individuals as FULLBEAUTY Brands associates
Issuing any form of disciplinary action
Receiving and/or adjusting grievances under the CBA
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven skills using Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to transfer to any shift with advance notice
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent interpersonal skills, and outgoing personality
Strong desire to learn and grow with the company
Ability to analyze large amounts of data
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of fulfillment operations and quality assurance processes
Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects from beginning to end
Proven experience as a Team Leader
Certificate or degree in SCM, leadership
Bi-lingual fluency in Burmese, Chin or Spanish
