Job Description:
Proficiency in management tools like Micro Focus ALM and Jira.
Functional UFT, Database and Manual test engineer.
1. Role Overview: Responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts
2. Test Script Development: Create and maintain Manual test scripts for functional and regression testing, ensuring coverage of critical business processes.
3. Domain Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing Manual testing and have good end-to-end business processes within complex enterprise applications and hands on experience in interfaces like Web, Excel and PDF.
4. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to understand testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
5. Test Planning: Contribute to test planning activities by identifying test scenarios, defining test objectives, and estimating efforts required for automation tasks.
6. Test Execution and Analysis: Execute automated test scripts, analyze test results, and work closely with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified, should have hands on experience in unattended executions
7. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to test scripts, test data, and test results to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure traceability and have good knowledge in management tools like Micro Focus ALM and Jira.
8. Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills to convey test status, issues, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering effective collaboration within the team
