As a Quality Analyst for Application Development, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality applications by collaborating closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and the development team. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, creating detailed test cases, performing functional and non-functional testing, and driving continuous quality improvements throughout the development lifecycle. 

Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis: 

Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to review and analyze detailed requirements for application development projects 

 

Test Strategy and Planning: 

Develop comprehensive test strategies, including defining test objectives, test plans, and acceptance criteria 

 

Test Case Design and Execution: 

Create and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios covering functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) 

 

Defect Management: 

Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution by the development team 

 

Collaboration and Communication: 

Act as a liaison between the QA team, developers, and project managers to ensure clarity in requirements, testing processes, and timelines 

 

Automation Testing (Optional): 

If applicable, design and implement automated test scripts using relevant tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage 

 

Change Management: Assist in developing change management strategies to facilitate the smooth adoption of new applications and systems 

 

Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements, QA best practices, and adoption of new tools and technologies to enhance the overall quality of application development 

 

Support Change Management: 

Work closely with the Change Management team to ensure smooth transition and adoption of new applications and updates
