This is a contract with the potential to convert opportunity and we are unable to provide sponsorship. This is also a remote role, but are unable to hire candidates from CA, WA, OR, CO,CT, OH, PA, NY, and NJ.
What You’ll Do:
As a QA Analyst, you’ll work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure that software solutions meet business goals and deliver value. From reviewing requirements to creating test plans and executing test cases, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring quality from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Business Analysts to review project requirements for testability
Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for small to mid-sized projects
Execute tests, report defects, and manage defect lifecycle
Communicate testing progress, risks, and results to QA leadership and project stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with QA best practices and help bring new ideas to the team
Foster strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and vendors
What You Bring:
Experience writing comprehensive test cases and managing testing efforts
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well across departments
Comfortable working under moderate supervision with some autonomy
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Bonus If You Have:
Experience estimating testing timelines and coordinating QA activities
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments
A passion for improving software quality and a mindset for continuous improvement
