On-going contract – Minimum 6 months
Frequency:
Full-time
Pay Range: $30/hr – $35/hr
Responsibilities:
Assess & investigate supplier quality issues
Invoke & Perform source inspection
Lead & participate to quality reviews & governances at the working level
Plan & Perform FAI review
Perform data analysis, 4 blockers & generate KPI on supplier’s quality performance
Plan & execute more complex projects & initiatives
Define Corrective action & improvement plan with the suppliers
Review & approve quality forms (ex: dropship)
Manage RNC / VRNC Queue & tasks that required MRB approval
Identify issues that required a problem-solving analysis
Identify & implement actions / solutions
Support & participate to the decision identification process
Work with a minimum of supervision
Requirements:
Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102)
Have a working knowledge of CMM inspection; interpret inspection report data as it relates to manufacturing requirements
Possess general knowledge of Aerospace Quality Systems and International Standards
SAP
Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures with regards to inspection including proficiency in the use of CMM, comparator, micrometers, thread gauges and calipers
The ability to read blue prints, check dimensional properties of parts or raw material to ensure compliance to manufacturing drawings/blueprints and psecifications
Knowledge of Discus preferred
Knowledge of Net Inspect
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite products. A certain degree of creativity and flexibility in required
Knowledge of GD&T required
Minimum of 5 or more years of experience in aerospace
