Job Summary
Advantal Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Analyst (QA) to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 6 months of experience who are passionate about software quality and eager to learn QA processes in a fast-paced IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
Understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases.
Execute test cases and identify/report bugs and errors to the development team.
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure quality standards are met.
Help in regression, integration, and system testing.
Document test results and provide detailed reports to the QA lead.
Continuously learn and adapt to new tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Basic knowledge of manual testing concepts.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla is a plus.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for spotting issues.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Internship or academic project experience in QA or software testing.
Exposure to basic automation tools like Selenium or Postman for API testing.
Knowledge of Agile methodology.
