The Quality and Risk Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring patient safety and best practices in healthcare service delivery. Reporting to the Director of Quality, Patient Safety & Risk, this permanent role involves managing risk, complaints, claims, document control, accreditation, and clinical audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and maintenance of quality and patient safety initiatives.
Assist in managing the Incident Reporting System and QPulse for document control, audits, and quality improvement.
Help review and update hospital policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
Gather and analyse data for Risk Management Reports and support accreditation processes.
Participate in claims preparation and complaints management.
Work collaboratively within the Quality & Risk Department and adapt to the evolving healthcare environment.
Essential Criteria:
Degree in Healthcare Science and clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of risk management, quality assurance, and clinical governance.
Excellent IT skills, report writing, and ability to work under pressure.
