Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to lead our testing lab. The ideal candidate will lead a team of lab technicians, collaborate with the production line to ensure that only top-notch products are approved for inventory and to work closely with our Safety Director and assist with safety protocol oversite.
Your role will be pivotal in maintaining our exceptional standards and contributing to the continued growth in both quality control and safety of a pioneering company.
Duties
Develop and implement comprehensive quality control procedures tailored to plastic geosynthetics manufacturing.
Lead and mentor a team of lab technicians, providing guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.
Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure adherence to established standards and specifications.
Analyze data collection methods and results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems that align with organizational goals.
Collaborate with production teams to fabricate products that meet quality requirements.
Lead root cause analysis for non-conformance issues and develop corrective actions.
Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, findings from audits, and inspection results.
Work closely with the Safety Director to monitor and enforce safety protocols.
Qualifications
· Proven experience of 5+ years in quality control/assurance within the manufacturing industry, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
· Solid understanding of plastic materials, geosynthetic manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
· Familiarity with ASTM standards and testing procedures.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact with various departments and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Familiarity with geosynthetic industry regulations and certifications is advantageous.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
