Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspections using various tools like microscopes, X-ray technology, and chemicals to assess microelectronic components against industry standards.
Analyze components for nonconformances based on specifications, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Follow strict quality guidelines, utilizing hand tools and measuring instruments with precision.
Maintain organized material stock, assist with training, and ensure the work area is efficient and clean.
Enter and manage data using computer-based systems to track and record inspection results.
Contribute to a culture of autonomy and collaboration, focusing on precision while supporting team goals.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency.
Work Experience: Stable and consistent work history.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, especially when handling small components.
Visual Acuity: Ability to distinguish colors and maintain precise close-up vision.
Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. occasionally and comfortable using a ladder when necessary.
Assessment: Candidates must complete an aptitude test and achieve a passing score, as well as undergo a behavioral assessment to ensure cultural fit, for consideration.
Work Authorization: Sponsorship is not available for this position.
This on-site position is based at our headquarters at 500 Center Ridge Dr, Austin, Texas 78753, in the Tech Ridge Business Park.
Candidates must be local or able to commute Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Hiring Process:
Step 1: Initial video screening call with a recruiter.
Step 2: One-on-one interview with the hiring manager on-site.
Timeline: Our goal is to fill this position by May 2025.
Additional Information: All selected candidates will be required to complete a background check and standard vision test before hire to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
