Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. They will also assist in the main activities and responsibilities within the Technical and Quality Department and represent the company in a professional manner, displaying teamwork and correct attitude towards clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
To assist in the resolving of all concerns and queries in the Quality and Technical inboxes. Investigate with RCA and implement actions and improvements to prevent further recurrence using quality assurance tools.
To assist the shopfloor with quality queries of incoming, in-production and completed goods. Including technical specification checks, reworks an rejects. To monitor shopfloor quality processes, analyse data and communicate actions / training and documents.
To assist in all department processes required for external and internal audits and provide audit support through all certifications, mainly ISO 9001.
To manage supplier Non-conformance through the process and implement corrective actions and process improvement where necessary.
To look after calibration, maintain documents and report / present findings and actions to management
To support technical with testing and training and provide technical help and requirements to customers.
Education & Experience
Maths / English GCSE essential
Diploma / apprenticeship – technical / engineering / degree and or audit experience
Customer service experience
Knowledge in dealing with concerns
Quality 9001 experience
RCA, problem solving / quality tools.
Knowledge & Skills
CAD / Inventor (preferrable)
Problem solving
Computer literate – with a good knowledge of all Microsoft applications
Strong communication (verbal and written)
Customer focused
Excel and Microsoft skills
Attention to detail, organised and results orientated
Drive and ambition with a can-do attitude
Foundation knowledge of manufacturing / commercial environment
Abilities
Ability to manage conflicting priorities, organised and methodical
Strong command of the English language
Good communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships and be influential and positive
Team player and self motivated
