Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX seeking a Quality Assurance. Manual Testing & Test Case Execution:
Design, document, and execute test cases for functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools
Perform end-to-end testing to validate software functionality against business requirements
Collaboration & Process Improvement:
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
Provide feedback on user experience and software usability
Suggest process improvements to enhance software quality and efficiency
Test Planning & Documentation:
Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test execution reports
Ensure test documentation is up to date and aligns with industry best practices
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on manual testing
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps)
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
Experience testing web and mobile applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
