The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring product quality throughout the entire SDLC, from requirement analysis to post-release. You will proactively develop test strategies and plans for each sprint/release, directly execute testing (manual, API, regression…), and collaborate closely with PMs/POs/Devs to manage quality risks using a shift-left approach. In this role, you will assess the impact of bugs on users and the business, while proposing product and testing process improvements driven by data. This position ensures stable product operations and provides timely quality reports.

What You Will Do

  • Proactively build comprehensive test plans for each sprint/release in alignment with the product roadmap.
  • Review requirements and assess product quality risks.
  • Design, standardize, and manage Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Checklists.
  • Directly execute testing (Manual, API, Regression, Smoke…) and guide the team on appropriate testing methodologies.
  • Log, classify, and evaluate the severity and impact of bugs; track fixing progress and verify quality post-fix.
  • Collaborate closely with PMs/POs/Devs throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure quality from the early stages (Shift-left testing).
  • Engage in the product experience to comprehensively evaluate user experience (performance, stability, UI/UX, content, user flows…).
  • Propose solutions to improve the product, testing processes, and release quality based on data and user insights.
  • Ensure stable product operations before & after release; take ultimate ownership of the final output quality.
  • Propose a roadmap for building an automation framework suitable for the product’s development stage.

What We’re Looking For

You Might Be a Great Fit If You Have

  • 3–5 years of experience as a QA Engineer, preferably with SaaS products.
  • Deep understanding of software testing processes, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently in test planning, test case design, test execution, bug management, and test reporting.
  • Proficiency in testing tools (Postman, bug/test management tools).
  • Solid knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and regression testing.
  • Strong capability to assess bug severity and its impact on users and the business.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Customer Experience (CX), UI/UX, and UX Research.
  • Preferred: Background in IT or a technical field.
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills with a strong critical thinking mindset.
  • Clear communication, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders (PMs, Devs, Stakeholders).
  • Strong documentation skills, able to write clear and coherent test artifacts and quality reports.
  • Proactive learner, constantly updating knowledge and keeping up with new testing trends.
  • Excellent logical & systems thinking.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, with a high sense of ownership over product quality.
  • Sharp intuition regarding user behavior and insights.
  • Proactive attitude, unafraid to ask questions and propose improvements.
