Job Summary:
Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for ensuring manufactured products and incoming supplies meet the set technical specifications.
Essential Functions:
- Studies product specifications, looking at internal and external requirements.
- Inspects and approves incoming materials.
- Samples products and tests to determine whether the product meets job specifications and company quality standards. Take corrective action as necessary.
- Works with the Technical Group on special projects and trials.
- Assists Operators to implement quality control functions required on jobs they are running on their machines.
- Communicates with production workers and collaborates to improve and develop systems that promote and ensure quality.
- Collects and documents data on a periodic basis.
- Performs clerical and administrative work as required.
- Schedule: Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shift (two days on, two days off, every other three-day weekend)
Work Schedule:
- Graveyard 6:00pm – 6:00am on a rotating schedule
