About the Role
Fully On-Site in Brookfield, WI our client in the mortgage industry is seeking a QA Analyst. Key Responsibilities include building the QA practice from the ground up — define standards, frameworks, and tooling strategy, then execute against them.

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain test plans covering functional, regression, integration, and edge-case scenarios.
- Execute manual test cycles; document defects thoroughly and verify resolution through structured retesting.
- Build and maintain automated test suites in Playwright, progressively replacing manual regression coverage.
- Champion AI-assisted QA — leverage GitHub Copilot and AI-augmented test generation across delivery workflows.
- Collaborate with developers and the Principal Solutions Architect from requirements through release.
- Manage defects in Azure DevOps (or equivalent); ensure issues are logged, prioritized, and tracked to closure.
- Document test strategies and QA standards to build a lasting, accessible knowledge base.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in QA or software testing — manual testing, test plan authorship, and defect lifecycle management.
- Structured test script experience across functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
- Proficiency with defect and test management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or equivalent).
- Agile/sprint delivery experience; strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required Skills
- Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress experience; Playwright strongly preferred.
- Active use of AI-assisted QA tooling (GitHub Copilot, AI-augmented test generation).
- Familiarity with web application architectures, RESTful APIs, and the .NET / React stack.
