Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, improve processes, and deliver high-quality applications to our users. This is a fully remote position open to candidates located within the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
- Assist in improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Maintain clear documentation of test results and testing procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (such as Jira, TestRail, or similar).
- Familiarity with web and mobile application testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote work environment.
