Overview:
The QA Analyst is responsible for ensuring that software products meet high-quality standards before launch. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
Perform manual and automated testing across various platforms.
Identify, record, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards.
Conduct regression testing and validate fixes.
Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
Utilize various testing tools and technologies to support testing efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance.
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile development environments is desirable.
