The Role
Servant is hiring a QA Engineer to lead and implement quality assurance efforts across all development projects. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful planning, automated testing, regression testing, and release of high-quality products. You’ll play a key part in documenting testing processes, reinforcing confidence in product quality, and driving continuous improvement in QA strategies.
As a QA Engineer at Servant, you will provide dedicated QA leadership and testing support, ensuring alignment with the priorities and requirements of the organization’s digital transformation projects. You will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the QA process to ensure the release of high-quality products. Responsibilities
QA Leadership: Provide dedicated QA leadership, ensuring all development efforts meet quality standards and align with the advancement of key priorities and requirements.
Release Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute QA strategies for each release, ensuring a smooth and timely delivery.
Automated Testing: Lead the development and maintenance of automated test suites to support continuous integration and ensure fast, reliable testing.
Regression Testing: Implement and manage comprehensive regression testing to maintain quality across iterations, identifying potential issues before releases.
Documentation: Create, maintain, and update specific QA documentation to provide clear records for future reference and ensure that all quality processes are well-documented.
Confidence in Delivery: Reinforce confidence in the quality of the development delivered by ensuring that rigorous testing processes are in place.
Issue Tracking & Reporting: Use issue tracking tools to document bugs and manage resolution. Provide timely reporting on test results and QA metrics.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
Experience with regression testing, issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla), and CI/CD tools
Strong problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to document and present QA findings clearly
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus
Experience working remotely.
Prior consulting experience preferred.
