A Quality Assurance Analyst ensures delivery of high-quality software applications by designing and executing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues. This role requires a strong understanding of modern development tools, programming languages, and database technologies.
Job responsibilities:
Test planning and design: o Develop comprehensive test plans and cases based on project requirements and technical specifications. o Ensure coverage for manual and automated testing, Including unit, Integration, regression, and performance testing.
Execution and Analysis: o Execute test cases across applications built using Kotlin, Swift, .NET, Python, SQL server, Oracle, Postgres and various APIs. o Analyze test results, document defects, and ensure they are addressed by the development team.
Collaboration and Communication: 2 o Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and workflows. o Participate In code reviews and sprint planning sessions to provide QA Input.
Understanding of .NET, C#, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, GIT, and HTTP protocol
Working knowledge of the general web application landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum.
Job requirements:
BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject, or equivalent work experience.
Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Postman).
Proficiency in Git for source control and CI/CD practices.
Understanding of databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and API testing.
Familiarity with Kotlin, Swift, .NET, JavaScript, and modern software development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
