SUMMARY
The QA Analyst role will test relevant focus area processes and business flow by processing a variety of test cases through focus area core and custom screens. Test activities specific to focus area processes will be utilized. Responsibilities include assisting with test design and performing test execution for designated projects, together with support for our continuous process improvement activities and liaising with business colleagues, technical architects, analysts, and development teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· SCS/EDI Focus
o EDI process flow experience.
o Testing of EDI documents, WMS screens, integrations, and other related functionality.
o Testing of CCA and Apprise screens and processes.
o Account and Item setups using various D&H systems.
o Testing and setup of multiple printing tasks (Jiffy, Labels, Pack Slips, etc.).
Use of test design techniques to provide fast, accurate and reliable analysis to optimize test coverage.
Proven analytical ability to contribute to formulation of Test Plan documents.
Perform overall system regression testing.
Assure designed test cases cover all business requirements within the agreed scope.
Work closely with technical and non-technical peers and senior management to promote
Successful delivery of products and services.
Support continuous improvement of the current test process.
Support of User Acceptance Testing activities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in computing or computing environment or technical-related area together with relevant working experience
Experience
2+ years’ experience with EDI processes.
Experience with the following EDI transactions: 810, 830, 832, 846, 850, 855, 856, 867, 870.
2+ years’ experience with QA testing processes.
Experience with using waterfall, agile, and iterative development methodologies.
Experience analyzing business requirements and design specifications to develop test plans and test scripts.
Ability to write technical, logical test cases.
Ability to clearly and thoroughly document system errors.
Ability to work independently on QA testing activities.
Train other team members on process and procedures.
Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers.
Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills.
Technical Requirements
Experience in .NET technologies, Visual Studio 2017 and TFS strongly preferred.
Experience with QA Testing tools, Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) preferred.
Experience working with Biztalk a plus.
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus.
