Quality Control Technician

Starting wage: $26 per hour
Primary Responsibilities
Work with production to effectively realize a Culture of Quality.
Complete a variety of QA checks and initiatives at specified intervals throughout the day.
Manage daily Critical Control Points for daily production using our online checklist platform.
Ensure that each check is a responsibility and necessary to compliance.
Provides “on the spot” training if needed to correct basic GMP deficiencies.
Play an active role in production and remains unafraid to assist in a variety of roles.
Track critical metrics throughout the day – Draws attention to deviations by escalating immediately.
Willing to be a resource in effective sanitation.
Diligent in taking and handling samples for laboratory panels.
Works with a People, Food, Safety mindset.
Additional duties as assigned to achieve the mission!
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
Strong teamwork skills.
Ability to deliver on daily tasks without direct and constant supervision.
Strong communication skills.
Strong aptitude for data collection.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (ERP system experience a plus).
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Manual dexterity as needed to operate various detailed instruments necessary for Quality.
