Job Description:
On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to support the testing of new and existing software. The QA Analysts’ objective is to complete assigned tasks as directed by the team manager.
Responsibilities:
• Software testing, functional and non-functional
• Validation of software fixes and enhancements
• Execution and maintenance of regression test suites
• Other projects or tasks, depending on resource capacity needs.
• The QA analyst shall plan, prepare, and execute manual testing on existing software.
• The QA analyst shall schedule and conduct test case reviews with peers when required.
• The QA analyst shall participate in non-testing activities which promote quality, as needed.
Qualifications:
• Experience writing test scripts using defect management software i.e., HP Application Lifecycle Management
• Test planning
• Quality assurance practices such as (but not limited to) defect analysis, system learning, backlog grooming, etc.
• SQL Server Experience
