Job Summary: Quality Assurance Analyst
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid; local candidates only, in-office 2 days/week)
Duration: 1 year contract
Interview: Web-based (camera on)
Key Responsibilities
Ensure solutions meet business requirements and are defect-free.
Develop and execute test cases according to project schedule.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and UAT testers.
Conduct UAT training sessions and resolve critical IT issues related to QA.
Complete, review, and approve all QA documentation as per process.
Participate in requirements and design review meetings.
Prepare test data and set up QA environments, including interfaces.
Manage defect identification, tracking, and remediation.
Work with Product Owners to prioritize and set defect severity.
Facilitate defect triage meetings.
Collaborate with Tech Leads, Developers, and UI/UX Designers to resolve defects and provide usability input.
Partner with QA Specialists for complex projects.
Provide analysis and input for Go/No Go project decisions.
Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance roles.
Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java.
Experience working in Agile team environments.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills.
Additional Requirements
LinkedIn profile with state client experience is required.
Must possess a valid Michigan ID/Driver’s License.
No relocation or remote-only option; must live within 2 hours of Lansing, MI.
