Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst for a 6-month contract to start with potential extensions fully remote PST hours flexible. Duties Include:

Develop and maintain test plans; develop manual test cases

Design and execute test plans for individual pieces of software and systems

Perform assigned testing as per the Test Plan; document and report all discovered problems

Ensure functionality of applications and they match the specifications

Execute regression tests for revised applications

Maintain records of all application testing; Prepare reports summarizing testing results

Identify and report bugs for developers to fix; assist developers recreate bugs

Collaborate with developers and users to optimize testing, defect isolation, and defect tracking

Provide suggestions to enhance different systems or software

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a QA Analyst with emphasis on manual testing (no automation testing)

Experience with end-to-end software system testing and writing test plans/test scripts

High level of knowledge of different forms of testing such as regression and smoke testing

Able to investigate test cases and debug issues and able to read the code and work with developers closely

Experience testing with Salesforce CRM

Familiar with JavaScript

Experience with Jira (bug tracking) and Confluence (documentation)

The ability to problem-solve; Ability to resolve issues as they arise in the testing environments

Ability to adapt techniques based on requirements

Work in an Agile environment and participate in all Agile ceremonies

Ability to formulate a test strategy based on technical specification documents and business requirements

Ability to communicate to a diverse group of IT management and business users is required

Experience with mobile testing is plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
