About Our Client
Our client is a leading provider of enterprise SaaS solutions for critical network infrastructure. For over 25 years, they've served the energy, utility, and telecom industries by combining geospatial data, business intelligence, and AI to deliver situational awareness and risk management for pipeline operators across North America.
The Opportunity
We are looking to fill a full-time Quality Assurance Analyst, remote-work position. Working as part of the engineering team, you will play a central role in ensuring the quality and reliability of an enterprise SaaS platform used by operators across North America to make critical safety and integrity decisions.
The ideal candidate is detail-obsessed, technically sharp, and passionate about quality as a craft – not just a gate. You thrive in an agile environment, can hold your own in conversations with developers and product managers alike, and bring a mindset of continuous improvement to everything you do. Experience with test automation is essential; exposure to AI-driven testing approaches is a strong differentiator.
What You'll Do
- Own the full QA lifecycle for assigned features and releases – from requirements review through test planning, execution, defect tracking, and sign-off
- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and edge-case scenarios
- Build, maintain, and scale automated test frameworks and scripts, reducing manual effort and increasing confidence
- Perform exploratory, functional, regression, performance, and API testing across an ASP.NET / SQL Server / Azure-hosted SaaS platform
- Review requirements, user stories, and technical design documents early in the development cycle to surface risks
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and data engineers to identify, document, and verify resolution of defects
- Monitor and report on QA metrics – defect density, test coverage, open defect counts, and release readiness
- Investigate root causes of non-conforming software and drive process improvements
- Stay current with evolving QA methodologies, tools, and industry trends – especially in automation and AI-assisted testing
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a QA Analyst / Test Engineer, owning the QA lifecycle across functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks (test automation is essential)
- Experience testing enterprise SaaS platforms, ideally on an ASP.NET / SQL Server / Azure stack
- Comfortable performing API testing and reviewing technical requirements
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Strong analytical skills – able to track QA metrics and drive root-cause process improvements
- Must be based in Canada
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AI-driven or AI-assisted testing approaches
- Experience with performance testing tools and practices
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms serving energy, utility, or telecom operators
